Dreaming of Fall

Hello everyone and welcome to September.  I tried really hard to post something other than pumpkins this month, but as those who know me are aware, from now until the last leaf drops I will be relentlessly talking about fall, pumpkins and red and gold leaves.  I just can't help myself.

Keeping with tradition, I'm delighted to announce I've already visited the pumpkin farm and indulged in a hay ride.  It was a little too hot for me to enjoy it the way I do when the weather is crisp and cool and the leaves are softly falling, but hey, pumpkins and a hay ride are always a welcome treat.

I'm slowly getting back in gear in the store and will hopefully hit full stride once the weather cools off.  As promised I have a few announcements regarding the store going forward, and I would like to begin sharing with you today.

I am excited to announce that starting in October, I've decided to offer free shipping on certain products beginning with various clothing items.  Shipping will continue to be via USPS Ground Advantage and Priority mail as it has always been.  It's taken me a long time to come around to this idea, but everyone seems to love it so much, so I'm going to get on board and at least try it out.

I'm keeping the blog short and sweet this month.  It's been a longer and hotter summer than we've seen in a while and it's hard to focus, at least for me, in this extreme heat.  I have other upcoming changes to share with you, but I'm going to roll them out slowly as time always seem to be at a premium.  I'm sure many of you can relate to the old saying, "There are never enough hours in the day."

So until next month (October!!!), I will be working in the store but also heavily dreaming of fall leaves, pumpkins and cooler weather.
