May Musings

Hello friends and welcome to May.  As I mentioned to you last month, I had hoped to post a pic of my pink rose bush as my blog cover photo this month.  I call it my Mother's Day rose bush as it blooms faithfully every year on Mother's day and fills the air with the sweetest fragrance. Unfortunately, we had so much rain these last weeks it was a pitiful sight, though it did have tons of flowers.  But that's Mother Nature for you.  Maybe she didn't feel like roses this year.  LOL.  In any event, I chose the photo above that is pretty close to what my actual rose bush looks like.

In the studio, I am still working on some Wild Cherry creations.  I ran into a supply issue with the items I needed to complete my projects, and it took an unexpected couple of weeks to get them even though I ordered early.  I've posted one pretty vintage halter dress to the store, and I have two painted and embellished denim skirts coming soon, so be on the lookout next month.  I've also added some new tees to the ebay store if you would like to check them out.

Lastly, I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day, whether you are a mom of human children or fur children or whatever kind of children you love.  No matter which, the most important part of the holiday is that you get to share your love with the ones that are important to you.  Keep the love flowing and have a wonderful day!
