Share the Love

Hello friends and Happy February!  While I can't quite believe it, January is in the rearview mirror and it's time to celebrate the "love" holiday -- Valentine's Day.  Always a fave around here because how can you go wrong with pink and red!!!

January and February are generally a time for regrouping here at Cherry Rose Cottage and that's what is happening right now.  I'm currently working on reorganizing my office in the hopes I can streamline some of the paperwork and business processes so I have more time for creativity and making pretty and/or interesting things for you.  The first stage is complete and I'm hoping to be finished by the end of February.  I'm one of those people who finds it very difficult to work when things are not organized.  It's not unreasonable to say that my motto is "Let's organize the world."  My brain just seems to function better when things are in their place and I don't have to spend who knows how much time searching for something I need.

At the same time the office remodeling is going on, I'm also working on my hand painted tee shirts.  I will soon have some complete and am very excited to begin sharing them with you.  I hope you will love them as much as I have enjoyed creating them for you.  I'm planning for the first release as early as March.  I had hoped to have some ready to be released before Valentine's Day but have had to move the date forward.  Keep an eye out for a few beginning around mid-March.

Have you ever had the experience of having so many things to do that you feel like you are standing in one place and spinning around and around?  That's kind of how I feel sometimes.  I have too many ideas all at the same time, and it's difficult to focus and pursue just one.  The beginning of this year has been exactly this.  Once I started painting, the ideas began to flow faster and faster and it took me a little while to take a breath and regain my focus, but I'm pleased to say I'm back on track now and looking forward to adding a bunch of new merchandise to the store.

Since February is the month of love, why not share some Cherry Rose Cottage love with your friends and family. Tomorrow is Groundhog Day and I am rooting for an early spring.  Fingers crossed.  Meanwhile, come on in and do some shopping!
