The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Hello friends and welcome to October.  The most wonderful time of the year has finally arrived.  Traditionally that phrase is used to describe the Christmas holidays, but for me October is my favorite month.  The holidays begin with Halloween and flow into Thanksgiving which melts into the Christmas holidays.  It's a magickal time which I always thoroughly enjoy.  The faintest tints of yellows and reds are showing on the tops of the trees and a couple of very welcome nippy mornings have put a chill in the air.  I feel the spirit of fall and the holidays creeping into my soul once again.

Around here Fall is a holiday unto itself.  The Marble Festival is next week, followed by the Apple Festival and many, many Harvest Festivals of various flavors.  The combination of fall colors, pumpkin spice "smells" and cool, fall weather can't be beat.  As I've said many times in previous blogs, I am the most motivated this time of year as I find inspiration everywhere for new products and new ideas.  It's as if the cooler weather allows my brain to function and I can actually think clearly.

Around the store I've added a good number of new treasures this past month including some pretty blazers and tops.  As promised, the weekly sales events are back and in full swing.  The sales category changes each Monday so please stop in each week to check out the new sales for that week and find a deal on your favorite treasure.
