Shipping

Where do you ship?
Cherry Rose Cottage currently ships to the United States only, excluding the locations listed below:
Hawaii
Vermont
Puerto Rico
If you are located in one of the above locations and place an order, your order will be canceled and your money refunded.  We are sorry for any inconvenience. Cherry Rose Cottage does not ship to international locations.

How long will it take to ship my order?
Cherry Rose Cottage generally ships next business day depending on when your payment clears and order volume except in times of inclement weather in our area.  You should allow up to 2 business days for your order to ship. Shipping delays are posted on the banner on the home page.

How much will it cost to ship my order?
Once you have placed the items you desire to purchase in your cart, the cart should give you an estimated shipping cost.  If you wish to view our shipping rates in a chart or need more detailed shipping information, please visit our Shipping page here.

Who is your shipping provider?
We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our shipping provider.

Will I receive a tracking number for my order?
Yes.  You will receive a tracking number via the email you provided to us when you placed your order.

If I am an international customer, can I have my package shipped via a freight forwarding company?
Cherry Rose Cottage does not ship to international addresses.  If you are an international customer and use a freight forwarder to deliver your packages, Cherry Rose Cottage is not liable for any damages which may occur during the delivery of your package to you. Ordering from Cherry Rose Cottage and shipping to an international address through a freight forwarding company is entirely at the risk of buyer.  Cherry Rose Cottage does not accept returns or issue any form of refund for items shipped internationally.

Payment/Restocking Fee

What methods of payment do you accept?
PayPal is our payment provider.  Even if you do not have a PayPal account, you can still use PayPal as a guest.  Please contact PayPal customer service or view their website for assistance.  We do not accept cash, COD, checks, money orders or gift certificates for online purchases.

Do you charge a restocking fee?
Cherry Rose Cottage reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on returns which will be deducted from any refund given.

Returns and Exchanges

Can I return my purchase if I don't like it?
On many items, yes.  The return policy for each product will be noted clearly on each product page.  We do not accept returns on clearance items, formal wear or items marked final sale. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges.  To view our detailed return policy, please click here.

Do you offer exchanges?
Currently we do not offer exchanges as we generally only have a single quantity of each item.  However, if you are not happy with your item, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

What do I do if I don't receive my order?
Review the banner on the home page or review the shipping page for notifications of delivery delays.  Contact us within 12 days of the ship date.  Please make sure you have your order delivered to a secure location.  Thefts from porches and home mailboxes are on the rise and we want you to receive your item. If the item tracking shows your package was delivered and you have not received it, contact your local post office or your local postal carrier as they have GPS and can tell you exactly where the package was delivered.  Cherry Rose Cottage is not responsible for items lost or stolen after the package tracking is marked as delivered.

Other Questions

What is gently loved?  "Gently loved" means that, after careful inspection, we do not see any readily noticeable issues with the item.  All items we sell go through an intensive inspection process before they are listed for sale.  Any defects or flaws will be noted clearly in the item description.  Cherry Rose Cottage sells preowned, vintage and used items and, as such, the item may still have tiny flaws.  If you are ever dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

What is vintage wash or vintage look?  "Vintage Wash" or "Vintage Look" means that an item has been distressed in such a way as to make it look or feel older than its actual age.  In some cases it is impossible to distinguish whether the item is actually vintage or has been distressed to appear vintage.  If there is any uncertainty as to whether an item is vintage or not, a comment will be included in the description section.  Always read the item description and view the photos to determine if a particular item will suit your needs.

Is this item true to size? Every manufacturer has their own set of styles and sizing guidelines. Because it would be impossible to know every guideline from every manufacturer, we provide a wide range of measurements on each item's product page as well as in our photographs.  The best way to help determine if an item will fit is to measure an item you currently wear and compare those measurements to the item you desire to purchase.

Do you offer gift wrapping?
Cherry Rose Cottage does not offer gift wrapping at this time.

Why is there a black box or marker pictured on some of the item photos?
Cherry Rose Cottage edits all photos to cover the brand names or trademarks of any rights holder.  This editing generally will appear as a box or marker placed over the text or trademark of the brand, manufacturer, retailer or designer.  In any instances in which the branding has been covered by such box or marker, the product you receive will differ from the photos in that the branding will appear on the actual product you receive in the location where the black boxes appear in the product photos.  

What do I do if I think I have received a potentially fraudulent email?
There has been a significant increase in fraudulent emails that try to lure customers into providing personal information.  Cherry Rose Cottage will never send an email or text message asking for your personal information or soliciting any charitable donation or otherwise requesting you to click on a link or provide information through email or text message. If you receive an email or text message that appears to be from Cherry Rose Cottage asking for your personal information, avoid clicking on any links and delete the message.  If you wish to verify a communication from Cherry Rose Cottage, please visit our website and send us a message through our contact form located here.
